Nut Butters.. What to look for:
Choose a natural variety
There should be oil on the top that requires you to stir it in and refrigerate after opening.
Choose a variety void of added salt.
The ingredient list should only contain one thing… the nut itself (no added sweeteners or preservatives)
AVOID THE “LOW-FAT” VARIETY… the lack of fat is made up for with carbs and sugar which makes it WORSE for you!
Read labels and ingredient lists so you can be sure you’re getting the best! Compare brands until you find the healthiest one. Once you get good at reading labels, this will be fast and easy!
